BeatFlash respects your privacy. This policy outlines how hardware permissions and data are handled within the application.
The CAMERA permission is requested solely to control the rear LED flash hardware. BeatFlash does not capture, process, store, or transmit photos or video data.
The RECORD_AUDIO permission is used exclusively for real-time local audio amplitude analysis and beat detection. Audio samples are processed transiently in device RAM and are never recorded, saved, or uploaded to external servers.
To enable the multi-device light sync feature, BeatFlash requires BLUETOOTH, NEARBY_WIFI_DEVICES, and standard LOCATION permissions. These are used strictly for local peer-to-peer mesh networking (Google Nearby Connections) to discover and sync with devices in the same room. BeatFlash does not track, store, or transmit your physical location data to any external server.
BeatFlash utilizes a foreground service to maintain uninterrupted flashlight stroboscopes, timers, and rhythm synchronizations when the app runs in the background. This service operates entirely locally on device hardware and does not collect or transmit user data while running.
BeatFlash does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data. All audio processing and device synchronization happen locally on your device. Because no user data is collected or retained on remote servers, no user data deletion request process is necessary.
BeatFlash utilizes Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage statistics to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads in accordance with Google's Advertising Policies.
BeatFlash does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. The application is a general-audience tool utility.
